You now have two choices when it comes to picking out the design of your diaper cake. You can choose either a rolled look in which each diaper is individially roller or you can get the wrapped look where the diapers wrap around each other. See the examples below. Pricing is the same for either design choice.

My First "Ad"

So...I went ahead and made a listing on craigslist.com to advertise my diaper cakes! Here's the listing...and I'm including pictures!!!

I make beautiful custom diaper cakes. My four tier cake is $40, my three tier cake is $30and my two tier cake is $25. Each tier has a travel size baby toiletry (a four tier cake includes Johnson and Johnson baby powder, baby lotion, baby shampoo, and baby body wash). Each cake is then topped with a matching bottle. I can pretty much use any color ribbon that you need (to match baby's room, mom's favorite color, baby shower theme, etc.). I typically tie a bow around each toiletry-- I can use "It's a Girl", "It's a Boy", or solid color. Please indicate in your email your preference.

Some people enjoy hiding gifts inside each layer of the cake (such as onesies, etc.) as an added surprise for the parents as they go to take apart the cake to use the diapers. Please ask for custom pricing on this. Some also like stuffed animals attached to the cake.

I typically use Huggies "Little Snugglers" size one diapers. If the mom you are buying this for has registered for another brand or prefers another brand, I will try my best to accomodate this request (additioanl charge may apply).

Pick-up and delivery in the Mt. Juliet/Hermitage/Old Hickory area is free. Outside this area may be an additional charge (please inquire and I will do my best to avoid delivery charges).

I require one week between placing the order and pick-up/delivery. If you need it quicker than this, a $10rush fee will apply.

Welcome to Diaper Cakes by Laura

So...I'm starting a new venture :) I have decided to start selling diaper cakes!! My basic cakes will most likely range from $35-60. I did a search online and there are places selling 2 tier diaper cakes for $75....so I think a four tier cake for $50 will be a good price! The price will go up from there based on any additional items you want to add to the cake. I will post a complete price list with picture examples as I get this venture going.

I will have several basic (but beautiful) cakes that will be priced based on size (number of tiers). Each cake can have a gender theme or be neutral. I have super cute "It's a Girl" and "It's a Boy" ribbon that I tie around each of the tiny gifts hanging on the cake. I can also customize the cake to match the nursery colors or any color you request.

One cute way to make the cake even more of surprise for the mommy is to have me hide items on the inside of the cake. This way, as the mom (and dad) unwraps the cake to use the diapers for their baby, there will be even more surprises of gifts waiting on the inside. For instance, I can hide a cute onesie in one of the layers, a pacifer and pacifer clip in another layer, and more.
